Gary Barlow has opened up for the first time about the death of his father.

The Take That singer - whose dad Colin died one month ago, aged 71 - performed at the Children In Need concert at London's Royal Albert Hall, which he had organised, and dedicated his performance of Rule The World to his father.

Speaking to the 4,500-strong crowd, he said: "This song is dedicated to everybody who's lost somebody they love - Dad, this one's for you."
