Mark Owen is planning to ask fellow Take Thatter Jason Orange to be his new daughter's godfather.
The singer and partner Emma Ferguson welcomed Willow Rose last week and the pair think Jason would be the perfect godparent.

Mark told the Daily Mirror: "I'm not 100 per cent sure who from the band I'm going to ask yet - if you ask one, you've got to ask the other two as well."

But the star, who also has a two-year-old son, Ellwood, with Emma, went on: "I think Jason will be the one. He was best man at his brother's wedding last weekend. Seeing how seriously he took his duties, I was blown away. Jase is really responsible, there will definitely be a tenner in the post every birthday and Christmas."

Mark, who is busy promoting new album The Circus with the rest of the band, added he's "absolutely knackered" at the moment.

I do my fair share of the night runs. I'm also a dab hand with dirty nappies," said Mark, who added that his family's new addition is "gorgeous".
