Owen: 'Barlow hated cover stunt'

Mark Owen has revealed that Gary Barlow was not happy about his idea for the front cover of Take That's chart-topping album The Circus.

The sleeve features all four members of the band suspended on a tightrope against a blue-sky background.

Owen told the Daily Star: "We were on fish-hooks holding us on to the wire. It was my idea and we weren't that high up but Gary struggled. He absolutely hated it."

The album missed out on a nomination for the upcoming Brit Awards, though the band are in the running for Best British Group.
