Heath Ledger (1979-2008) - One Year On...
Today is the 1 year anniversary of Mr Heath Andrew Ledgers death.
I can't believe how quick the year has gone....still seems like only yesterday when I stumbled across the report that he'd died when I was browsing for news online. I was devestated and didn't believe what I was reading. Part of me hoped it was some sort of sick wind up and Heath was infact alive and well but unfortunately it was true!!
How unfortunate that a young man as talented as himself took a movie role so seriously that it later contributed to his untimely death. All my love to his family & especially little daughter Matilda while today she remembers her father for the good in him.
R.I.P Mr Heath Andrew Ledger
As one of my fave actors of recent years I will never forget this day...

ohh it was a real shame, he was very young!
I never got to know him..as actor... But too young to die....pity

My all time's favorite of Heath is A Knight's Tale and Brokeback Mountain
I hope he wins any Oscar/GoldenGlobe/Emy there is! He deserves to!
it's pointless to even say how gorgeous he was, and how devestated i was to hear about his death.

He was actually awarded best supporting actor at this years golden globes for The Dark Knight!! Well deserved if you ask me!! His portrayal of The Joker was amazing!! If you haven't seen this film already I recommend you watch it, its absolutely FANTASTIC!! I'm not a batman fan at all and haven't seen any of the other batman films but I loved this one!! I have seen it about 10 times!!! xxx

Heath was and is one of my (and Davids) favourite actors. We were seriously gutted when he died. I actually spent the morning of Davids birthday (when he died, it was the 23rd in Oz) crying. :'(
Also being one of Australias finest actors it was a sad day for our film industry too.

A Knights Tale is my favorite too! Although I think Brokeback Mountain, Dark Knight and Candy are some of his best work.Sir Barlows Cuddly Toy wrote:My all time's favorite of Heath is A Knight's Tale and Brokeback Mountain
